Join the discovery! Explore one of San Diego County’s urban canyons – a host of biodiversity and wonder. Sign up for a Border BioBlitz at Rice Canyon on Saturday, May 18th from 10am-12pm. This event offers the chance to observe and document wildlife alongside the Nat’s seasoned researchers and Canyoneers.

The Border Bioblitz is a community science effort to record as many species as possible along the U.S.-Mexico Border. We will be using the iNaturalist platform to capture images of wildlife throughout the canyon. All experience levels are welcome!

Please note that all participants under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult for the entirety of the event.

Tickets are available online until one hour before the event. When registering, please use the email that you are most likely to check leading up to the event, as we will be reaching out with critical event details. Thank you!
